Winter 1998

In 1995, Microsoft in Education, one of Europeís largest corporations, asked Prospero Design to develop a Web site that emphasized their human face while maintaining their corporate standards and branding. Prospero designed and built the initial Web presence from conception to public release. The site covers the entire range of Microsoftís global activities, corporate history, and commitment to global and local community development. In addition, it includes a press release update system and a search engine that returns key words, context, and abstracts.

A Development Partnership
Since the launching of the original site two years ago, Prospero has continued to play a strong role in Microsoft Web development, including design and implementation of a custom publishing system that allows Microsoft to update timely sections at a momentís notice. Prospero also handles ongoing maintenance of the corporate site, migration of new Microsoft regional and business sites to the live hosting server, and the building of secure intranet sites.
